Mars met Pluto, and the fight turned inward.
Not the kind we throw out into the world, but the kind we wrestle with in the dark.
The part of us that’s scared.
Ashamed.
Clinging to control.
And yet, through that confrontation, something holy happens: the false self begins to fall.
And just as the rubble settles, a quiet Moon in Taurus reminds us: you are still here.
You have a body. A breath. A belly. A bowl of soup. A candle flame.
She whispers not of escape, but of return.
To presence.
To simplicity.
To enough.

We enter this week standing in the ruins of old dreams.
The Taurus New Moon whispered stability into the storm.
But beneath it, Mars opposes Pluto, and the truth cannot be ignored.
This is not gentle astrology.

Pluto and Mars rip away our illusions.

🔥 April 30 – Venus Re-Enters Aries: The Morning Star Rises
Venus has been reborn.
She passed through the heart of the Sun during her retrograde.
She burned.
She was stripped of illusions.
She returned as the Morning Star - raw, alive, unafraid.
Now, She steps into Aries: direct, brave, urgent.
She’s not here to be chosen.
She’s here to choose.
She’s not here to dream.
She’s here to act.

🌸 May 1 – Beltane: The Sacred Marriage of Life and Love
At the threshold of May, we reach Beltane - the ancient Celtic festival of life, fire, sacred union, and wild blooming.
Where Imbolc was the quiet quickening, Beltane is the full, holy consummation.
This is the time of the Sacred Marriage: the merging of divine masculine and divine feminine, the joining of spirit and body, earth and sky.
In the old traditions, fires were lit to bless the land and the people. Lovers leapt flames. Life itself celebrated its hunger, its beauty, its wholeness.
Beltane reminds us:
You are not just here to survive.
You are here to love.
To burn.
To merge.
To create a life that is both holy and wild.

Notice the vividness of life this week: your desires, your creativity, your pull toward connection. This is Beltane energy waking up in your body.
🌿 A Beltane Ritual for Sacred Union
Light two candles: one for the Divine Feminine, one for the Divine Masculine.
Breathe deeply, barefoot if possible, feeling the fire of life within you.
Whisper:
"I honour the sacred life-force within me.
I honour the sacred life-force within all beings.
I choose union, within and without.
I choose to live fully.
I choose to love fiercely.
And so it is."
Let the flames burn as a living prayer.
🌊 May 2 – Venus Conjunct Neptune: The Sacred Choice
And then, on May 2, the great meeting: Venus joins Neptune in Aries once more.
But this is not the soft dream of fantasy.
This is sacred love after the fire.
This is the choice to believe again, knowing everything love might cost.
It is the sacred marriage: within us, and if we are lucky, between us.
Venus stands before Neptune, not as the drifting maiden, but as the Morning Star:
scarred, shining, ready.
And She chooses:
Not fantasy.
Not escape.
But real love.
Real truth.
Real devotion.

As you get more practiced with noticing you can expand your awareness to more than one transit in the week and before long you'll be immersed in the astrology and your way of being in, and experiencing the world, will have shifted into something altogether more magical!
